Adele McNiven, training director

Adele is CODAC’s trial director and has been involved with agility for about 8 years now and is a CKC and AAC agility judge and also judges Lure Coursing and is a Canine Good Neighbour Evaluator.

Her energies are spread over several dog performance events including racing, hunting, rally obedience and agility.

She is the president of the Whippet Club of BC and shares her life with four whippets, one of which is her “grand pup”.  She has put agility, rally, race, sprint, lure coursing, and hunting titles on her dogs and believes that dogs are the best therapy for humans.  She says that to have a balanced perspective on life, “everyone should have a dog who adores them and a cat who ignores them.”
